24 Hour Pixel People Needs a New Blogger!

I will be posting this everywhere this week. 24 Hour Pixel People, the blog for the Comixpedia website is due for an upgrade and an overhaul. To do so it needs a new blogger or group of bloggers to make it his/her/their own.

So: Blogger(s) wanted to link to and write semi-snarky text about the webcomic events of the day. Gig is Monday through Friday. (Weekend posts optional). Format of blog can go beyond webcomics to entire realm of comics, but should cover key webcomic stories and memes. Bloggers who have already blogged about comics for some period of time preferred.

Benefits to us are obvious. Comixpedia continues to be a site with new content daily. Benefits to you the blogger to be @ Comixpedia are a built-in audience at a year old publication (with a steady audience growth each month), already known URL (24hour.comixpedia.com) and the chance to communicate directly with creators and fans of comic online which is a terrific audience for someone writing about comics, online.

Compensation: Interested parties should not expect compensation but I am interested in discussing arrangements for placing ads from Blog Ads on the blog for the benefit of the blogger(s) to be. Specifics will depend on discussions with individual candidates.

Interested parties should email me at xerexes AT comixpedia DOT com. Please include your name, your experience blogging about comics (include URLs to your writing please) and a brief description of what the 24Hour Pixel People blog would cover under your reign to be. If you are interested please apply in the next couple of weeks. There is no official deadline — once we find the right candidate the job will be filled.
