Another Comics Portal Site: Eyeshock

Eyeshock looks like an interesting site with a top votes list, an offer for free webhosting for artists, and links to tutorials and useful website scripts.

  1. The website script they have is a little out-dated. It’s the old version of the Walrus script I use on my site. (There’s a slightly newer version I haven’t tried out yet. Check the links section on Comixpedia to see the script’s site.) Basically, you’re really just uploading a PHP file and your strip, so it’s not much different than changing the html by hand, except it’ll cycle through a little smoother and you don’t have to continually deleter or update the main page itself. If you’re going with PHP, get the most up to date one so you only have to load your strips in a folder on your server.
