DrunkDuck has recently introduced a revamped profile page with more community oriented features. These features include the ability to befriend other users, share videos, and comment on each other's profile pages.
Meanwhile Subcultured, creator of Bilaran War, has organized a community DrunkDuck Awards for this year. There are around 14 categories and the polls are set to open on May 14th. Meanwhile, those who are curious can check out the polling center which features a small animation and a link to the rules.
Sign-up for DrunkDuck members to get a free table at DrunkDuck alley in Wizard World Philadelphia (June 15-17) is still open despite the deadline passing yesterday. Anyone who signs up now however will not be guaranteed their name appearing in the program.
Table space will be broken up based on how many members are attending but any DrunkDuck member in good standing with an active comic is welcomed to sign-up. More details are available in the link above.
As an artist and an art educator, there are very few things out there that I find more deserving of scorn then an art thief. Especially if it's an art thief that steals other people's work then display it in an art gallery as their own. Like what Todd Goldman did with Purple Pussy.
If what they say about Todd Goldman is true, then we should not only heap scorn at him but as Randy Miholland of Something Positive suggest, we should throw rocks. Big rocks labeled "stop stealing and profiting from other people's work!"
Encouraged by the success at Wizard World in LA, Platinum Studios will be organizing more DrunkDuck Artist Alleys this year in three other Wizard World conventions. These three Wizard World Events will be at Philadelphia, Chicago, and Texas.
