ballad by deadmouse comes to Modern Tales

The creepy horror/fantasy comic Ballad by deadmouse has joined the Modern Tales lineup.

The first 198 pages, which have previously appeared on deadmouse’s own site, will be re-posted one day at a time on Modern Tales, and will be free (even in the archives), as a way of helping both kinds of Modern Tales readers — the subscribers as well as the non-paying readers — catch up to, and get into, the story. After the first 198 pages have been posted, new updates will operate on the standard Modern Tales model, where the latest installment is always free but the archives require a subscription.

Ballad was named one of the best webcomics of 2004 by the Webcomics Examiner.
