I must admit I wouldnt categorize Broken Saints as a webcomic. I dont think it fills the criteria for comic at all, more like an animated seriers. Admittedly I havent seen all the episodes, perhaps some are more comics than others.
It may make a good comic though.
I’d say it’s something between comic and animation, the first ones bieng more “comic-like”, while the laters are more like an animated series
The thing is that, between the broadening of concepts rgarding the comic media by McCloud et al., and the capabilities that the new technologies offer, it’s sometimes difficult to clasificate what a webcomic is. Broken Saints is certainly no Penny Arcade, but it isn’t say, Star Dudes, Happy tree friends, or Xiao Xiao’s doing either, to name a few (I’m sorry, but I couldn’t think of a Penny Arcade equivalent for webnimation)
Sorry about the typos, I clicked the wrong button… (U^=^)
