Serializer Comic Involved In Latest CBLDF Case

The latest case of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund is the arrest of a comic book retailer for “distributing material depicting nudity” and “distributing obscene material to a minor.” The offending material in question is a part of Nick Bertozzi’s The Salon, available online at Modern Tales sister site Serializer.

From Newsarama:

The case involves retailers Gordon Lee of Legends in Rome, Georgia who was arrested, according to the CBLDF, after a copy of Alternative Comics #2, the Free Comic Book Day Edition reached a minor during a Halloween giveaway, and the child’s parents filed a complaint with the local authorities.
