WirePop announces the addition of Eversummer Eve

WirePop — www.wirepop.com — announced today the well-known webcomic “Eversummer Eve”, by Denise Jones, has joined the webcomic line-up on WirePop.com, the growing Manga and Manga-styled webcomic subscription magazine.

“We knew we were on the right track when the nearly famous Denise Jones agreed to join the WirePop line-up with her well-known webcomic ‘Eversummer Eve’.” said George Panella, WirePops’ Publisher “Denise brings a lifetime of experience and a real legend in the webcomic community to the pages of WirePop. Eversummer Eve flows with quality, originality and memorable characters. Don’t miss out on this one.”

Jones, talked about “Eversummer Eve” saying, “It’s a modern day story containing fae, witches, dragons, curses and things like that – but that’s not what it’s *about*, really. It’s a much more complex story that has to do with what makes people ‘people’, regardless of what they are or where they’re from. In addition to including elements from the modern pagan movement, Eversummer Eve redefines the world of faerie, borrowing some from classical Celtic lore and then extrapolating how Faerie might evolve over time if it had contact with worlds besides Earth. No matter where you look in the story, some things will seem familiar and some will carry an entirely different twist.”

Jones had this to say about joining the Manga subscription magazine “WirePop.com, WirePop is a forward-looking company that is highly concerned with keeping both readers and comic creators happy. So far Mr. Panella has been a joy to work with, and I hope WirePop becomes a great success.”

“Eversummer Eve” will debut on the WirePop.com website when it is launched later this year, and will be updated weekly. The latest episode of every WirePop webcomic will be free for anyone to read. “This new industry of publishing comics online is affording readers a new way to access quality, professional comics that was never really possible in the print world. The diligent reader can read the WirePop.com webcomics for free if they keep up with the weekly updates,” said Panella “but the paying subscriber will gain access to more content, extras and the ever growing archive of WirePop webcomics.” WirePop.com subscription prices will be $2.95 a month or $24.95 a year. Paying subscribers will have access to all on-going WirePop.com webcomics and archives plus exclusive subscriber only comics. They will also have access to exclusive content and features such as: Galleries, Downloads, Comic Bookmarks, Creator Journals and more.
