Preparations Underway For Dutch Webcomic Convention

The dutch webcomic convention Clickburg is to take place in Tilburg on May 1. Most of the site is in dutch, but the welcome page has some information in english.

ClickBurg is an event that will take place in Tilburg, The Netherlands, and is intended for people of all ages, for comics affectionado and comics layman, for everyone!

It will be a great opportunity for webcomic artists to get together and show the audience their stuff. Meet one of the youngest art forms in the world: webcomics.

MomoCon to Feature Webcomic Authors

Anime O-Tekku of Georgia Tech presents MomoCon, an anime and gaming convention held in Atlanta, GA, March 26-27, 2005 at the Georgia Tech Student Center. MomoCon is a free admission convention, with local vendors and artists selling their wares in addition to numerous special events.

This year, MomoCon welcomes 12 webcomic guests to the convention, including Josh Nickerson, creator of The Nolans and Mid-Shift.

Deadlines for UK Webcomic Thing Coming Up

Bugpowder reports that deadlines for exhibiting at the UK Web and Mini Comix Thing next March (2005) are fast approaching. Exhibitor tickets purchased before December 31st are £35; £40 from January 1st to March 1st; and after March 1st will cost £45.

Organzier Patrick Findlay also states that “The more important deadline is the 30 exhibitors or bust deadline by 31 December 2004. WebComic Panel at East Meets South Anime Convention

The East Meets South Anime Convention will be held December 3-5 in Anniston, AL. EMS will have the traditional 24-hour anime and gaming, plus many related events.
