Perhaps no convention has done more to embrace webcomics creators of all degrees of experience as ConnectiCon, run by Matt Daigle and Briana Benn. As this year’s convention came to a successful conclusion, the con was suddenly hit with unexpected expenses long into the five figures. Phil Foglio of Girl Genius, John Lustig of Last Kiss, and Christopher Baldwin of Bruno and Little Dee will appear in a webcomics panel in Olympia, Washington (just one hour south of Seattle and two hours north of Portland), as part of the Cartoonists Expo of the Olympia Comics Festival on May 28th.

The Expo takes place in the Olympia Center (222 Columbia St. NW Olympia, WA 98501) in downtown Olympia from 1:30 through 7:00 and admission is FREE.
