New Hutch Owen Collection Available

Tom Hart has a new print collection of Hutch Owen entitled “Unmarketable” available. Published by Top Shelf, the book is available in bookstores (including online sites Amazon, B&N and Powells) or you can order directly from Top Shelf.

“Dandy & Co.” WebComic in Newspapers

For the past three years, internet surfers have enjoyed the daily adventures of a Dog and his boy with Dandy & Company but now readers can get a dose of Dandy in a more traditional format: A Newspaper! Minnesotans have been getting laughs thanks to Fish’s adventurous humor strip for weeks now in a local, weekly paper called The Hometown News.

Derrick Fish began self-syndicating his comic with the Hometown News this past summer, but hopes to put Dandy & Company into more papers as the strip’s popularity grows. Continue Reading

Book Launch: The Best of Jen

Catherine Harrell’s webcomic, Jen, is now available in print. Her new book, “The Best of Jen,” highlights the most recent samples of the strip, with over three hundred comics collected from the 2004 archives.

Jen is a humorous comic about the adventures of four children, a quirky group of friends named Jen, Madison, Sparkle, and Avery. The characters encounter peculiar situations throughout the book, including radical haircuts, lost cats, irresistible soap bubbles, and missing smoothies. The strip appears in soft pastel colors with simple line art, and each cartoon is kid-friendly.
